Rajinikanth aka Shivaji Rao Gaekwad turns 66 on Dec 12, 2016, but is in no mood for celebrating his birthday this time. He has urged his fans across the world not to celebrate his birthday and avoid putting up banners or pictures. He decided so as to pay homage to former CM of Tamil Nadu Late J Jayalalithaa who died only a few days back.

In a tweet, he has requested his fans not to indulge in any celebrations and avoid keeping posters and banners.

Jayalalitha had once refused role opposite Rajinikanth!

Former CM Jayalalithaa was also a superstar of her times and recently a letter by her went viral which stated that Jayalalithaa had turned down the lead female role in “Billa” opposite Rajnikanth as the male lead.

Her role was then taken by Supriya, another famous actor from Tollywood.

Fans usually celebrate Thalaiva’s birthday in a grand way but like last year, once again this year, they will have to control their emotions. Last year the "Linga" star did not celebrate his birthday due to torrential rains that brought the Chennai Flood and affected neighbouring districts too, causing a huge loss of life and property.

Rajnikanth is now preparing for the sequel of “Enthiran” where he plays Dr. Vasegaran who this time fights against a wicked scientist played by Akshay Kumar.

While romancing the most sizzling and sexy Amy Jackson, the "Kabali" star also has to deal with Professor Bohra’s son seeking revenge for his father’s death in the movie.

Rajini refuses Aamir to dub for 'Dangal'

Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan urged Rajini to give his voice to the character of the wrestler father Mahaveer Phogat for the Tamil version of his upcoming movie “Dangal”.

But his request was politely put down by the Tamil superstar and the reason for the same is the guess work of the audience. Rajini was moved by the film, but he very respectfully refused to give his voice to the onscreen face of Khan.

Rajni is a very famous superstar of not just the South Indian film industry but all Bollywood bows to his talent and stardom.
