Kim Kardashian turned 36 on Friday and to celebrate Kanye West posted a touching five-minute video montage to Twitter.The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been keeping a low profile since the harrowing robbery in Paris earlier this month, which saw her bound and gagged by robbers before they escaped with jewelry worth millions of dollars.Paying tribute to his wife West, who married the reality TV starin 2014, shared the video on Twitter and captioned it: "Happy Birthday babe."

The video features home movies from Kim's childhood taken by her late father Robert Kardashian Snr.

In it Kim is seen alongside her siblings Kourtney, Khloe and Rob as they enjoy a happy childhood.

In one clip Kim can be seen dancing for the camera alongside her sister Kourtney after revealing she's going into the first grade while in another, she throws cheeky younger brother Rob into the swimming pool after he teases her about a boyfriend.

Kim's harrowing ordeal

The star has been seen only twice since suffering the ordeal in France.Speaking this week her mother, Kris Jenner, admitted the mother-of-two wasn't doing well after the experience.She told E!News this week: "One day at a time.

It's a process."Kris then added that Kim is "doing what a mother does" in regards to caring for her two children North, three, and Saint, one.

Kardashians celebrate

Kim's family have been sharing their birthday messages with Kourtney posting a sweet throwback picture of their childhood to Instagram, which she captioned: "Happy happy birthday sister!

I feel beyond blessed to walk through my whole life with you by my side, besides those first lonely 18 months. I love you beyond words."

Mom Kris also chose a throwback video, sharing on Twitter a video from Kim's second birthday.In a further post on Instagram she called Kim the most "wonderful daughter".

She wrote: Happy Birthday to my precious Kimberly! @KimKardashian I love and adore you... you have brought so much joy into all of our lives and you are the most wonderful daughter, wife, sister, friend and mom. I thank God every day he blessed me with you and I cherish every single moment and memory. My heart is full of gratitude and I love you more than you will ever imagine or know... Mommy xo."
