The career of Nikhil Advani hasn't fared really well after Kal Ho Naa Ho. 'Katti Batti' seems to be a comeback vehicle for Advani. Katti Batti's trailer promises a lot of fun, laughs and emotions just like any other romantic comedy, but with Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan.

Since it is a romantic comedy, I particularly didn't expect anything out-of-the-box from this movie. It delivers exactly the right amount of chills and frills required in such genre.

The Film's plot is simple: a no strings attached girl Payal (Kangana Ranaut) meets a simpleton Maddy (Imran Khan).

Payal wants a live-in relationship but doesn't want to fall in love, whereas, the trailer suggests that Maddy falls in love with her seriously during their five year-long relationship.

Ranaut's character may give you glimpses of her portrayal of Rani in 'Queen' and Tanu in 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. On the whole, Ranaut returns in bubbly look with various avatars. The expectations from Ranaut are sky-high, because of her roaring success at the box-office.

Khan's character is similar to the chocolate boy roles that he has played before in his career. But, this is what really suits Khan. I hope we haven't forgotten his over-the-top street like performance in 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara!

'. With shades of Rahul from 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' and Abhay from 'Break Ke Baad', Khan promises to deliver once again in the kind of role that he best fits in.

The trailer has received positive response from celebrities on Twitter. Actor and film critic Kamaal R Khan tweeted that it will be another super hit flick for Kangana Ranaut.

Director Sudhir Mishra tweeted that the trailer is terrific and Kangana Ranaut is set to do the impossible now. Journalist Taran Adarsh said that the movie looks refreshingly different.

With all the positive reviews coming in for 'Katti Batti', it seems that the movie is going to add another hit to Ranaut's kitty and a much-awaited success to Advani's career.

The trailer packs a punch and promises to deliver a lot more than we have expected. The movie will hit the theatres on September 18, 2015.
