'Walk. Ride. Rodeo,' (2019)
“Walk, Ride, Rodeo.” tells the true story of a champion rodeo rider who has a car accident that leaves her paralysed. She vows to get back on her horse and to compete again. Amberley Snyder told her doctors when she started physical therapy that she plans to get back to the rodeo. The inspiring film shows how the young woman pushes herself to achieve her aims. The film ends with the real Amberley Snyder, explaining how she did stunts for the film.
'Room' (2015)
“Room” features a young woman who is kidnapped and confined to a tiny room. She is pregnant and gives birth to her son in the room. When her son turns 5, the mother begins plotting their escape from confinement. The film stars Brie Larson and it was based on a 2010 novel of the same name. Larson received an Oscar for her performance in the film.
'Nappily Ever After' (2018)
“Nappily Ever After” features a woman with the perfect hair, perfect job and perfect boyfriend. However, when a hair salon visit goes wrong, she realises perfection may be overrated. The film is aimed at anyone who has been uncomfortable with their look or hair and sends the message to embrace your own natural look.
"The Breadwinner" (2017)
“The Breadwinner” tells the story of a courageous 11-year-old Afghan girl who disguises herself as a boy, so she can take on odd jobs to help feed the family after her father is arrested. Angelina Jolie was the Executive Producer on the film and it was nominated for Best Animated Picture at the 90th Academy Awards.
'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' (2018)
Based on the novel of the same name, the film features a girl who writes secret love letters to her five crushes. When they somehow get mailed to each of the boys, Lara Jean discovers her quiet high school existence is turning upside down. This is a cute and awkward teen rom-com film, suitable for teens or adults.
