Hull homeless group offered hotel accommodation for Christmas after the Royal Hotel cancelled their stay

A group of 28 homeless people were supposed to stay at the Royal Hotel in Hull over Christmas, but the hotel cancelled. Their reasoning was that homeless people had damaged rooms when they stayed at an Ibis hotel last Christmas. Ibis denied the claim and the Raise the Roof Hull Homeless Project called the allegations “lies.” Now Doubletree Hilton has offered 14 twin rooms for the homeless group over Christmas, including a Christmas dinner.
