It was recently reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been honoured as wax models at Madame Tussauds [VIDEO]. This isn’t the only royal wedding-related story doing the rounds, as Legoland Windsor has created a beautiful miniature model of the wedding, complete with a miniature Windsor Castle. Images were posted by the attraction park to Instagram, showing a tiny Prince Harry and Meghan Markle standing in front of Windsor Castle.

The royal couple in LEGO form

Legoland Windsor posted to Instagram announcing that they had created the model Windsor Castle to celebrate the upcoming royal wedding.

The new model took almost 40,000 LEGO bricks to create and it is now on display in MINILAND. As noted by the Jakarta Post, it took 11 model makers to create the spectacular scene.

The model of Markle took 60 LEGO bricks to create, including her wedding dress and a veil, while Prince Harry is standing proudly by her side. The LEGO couple can also be seen riding in a LEGO carriage drawn by horses in a representation of the Windsor Great Park Long Walk. The couple is surrounded by some 500 spectators in an effort to recreate the actual wedding procession to be held on 19 May.

The whole royal family is there

Queen Elizabeth [VIDEO] and Prince Philip are also represented as miniature LEGO models, as is the couple’s best man, Prince William.

William is naturally accompanied by Kate and the two children, George and Charlotte. Meghan’s parents are also represented in the scene.

According to Legoland Windsor, it took them some 592 hours to create and the replica of the royal wedding will be permanently on display in the theme park, which is located three miles from the real, full-size Windsor Castle.

American TV to celebrate the royal wedding live

Nasdaq has noted the fact that the U.S. loves royal weddings and everything related to them. In fact, any royal news always ends up under the category of entertainment or celebrity news. There will be several U.S. TV networks streaming the wedding live from England from 4 a.m. on the East Coast of the U.S.

Reportedly Lifetime has also released a new biographical Film about the couple’s romance, which is titled “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.” The film was promoted recently in Los Angeles while guests enjoyed a typical English high tea eating scones with jam and cream and cucumber sandwiches (no doubt with the crusts cut off). Tanya Lopez, Lifetime’s executive vice president in charge of movies, said that royal weddings are an escape for everyone, adding that it is a peek into a fantasy world where the prince finds his princess.
