Due to Dragon Boat Festival in China from May 28th to May 30th, the movie is performing extremely well in the Holiday season, where it grossed $6.51 million on May 28th and $8.10 million on May 29th.

Until now, 3.28 million people watched Dangal movie in the China, which is an unimaginable viewership for an Indian movie.

With steady collections at the Chinese box office, Nitesh Tiwari's directional is eyeing for Rs 1000-crores soon at the ticket window.

In the first phase of its release on December 23rd, 2016, Aamir Khan's Dangal grossed Rs 542.50 crores from the Indian box office and Rs 201.50 crores from the overseas box office.

On March 24th, 2017, the movie released in Taiwan, where it grossed Rs 27.50 crores approximately till date. In the Taipei alone, the capital city of Taiwan, Dangal grossed $2.061 million till date.

While the film, which released on May 5th, 2017 in China grossed Rs 941.70 crores in its 25 days run at the box office.

Overall, Aamir Khan - Nitesh Tiwari's sports drama 'Dangal' grossed Rs 1713.20 crores from the worldwide box office till date and became the first Indian film to surpass Rs 1700-crore mark.
