The iMac 2017 is one of the most anticipated computers to be released this year. A lot of rumours and speculation has surfaced online, however, there are no official details yet released by the company.
On the other hand, we gather there is much speculation about the features and specs of the upcoming iMac 2017. Although, as we mentioned earlier these details are not officially confirmed, there is still a big potential that these will come with the machine.
First, the latest speculation about the iMac 2017 is the keyboard, which is said to feature a giant touch bar.
This feature was first seen on the Apple MacBook Pro laptop and like the other revolutionary ideas, it receives varied feedback from users worldwide.
There are also reports suggesting that the new iMac 2017 will come in two different size variants, the 21.5 inch and the 27 inch. According to TechRadar; "Apple started the production of the new consumer-targeted iMac in May. The refreshed 21.5-inch and 27-inch models is currently in production and are expected to go on sale in the third quarter of this year."
Internal Specs and Price
For the internal specs, speculations suggesting that the upcoming new iMac 2017 will feature a powerful Intel Xeon processor chip. iMac 2017 will also feature AMD graphics, the Intel Xeon E3-1285 v6 processors and 16GB to 64GB of ECC RAM.
The machine is also reportedly will feature Thunderbolt 3 through USB-C and a 2TB SSD.
We still couldn’t conclude an accurate price for the iMac 2017 until the company itself officially announce these details. However, if we based on the current rumoured specs the 21.5-inch variant is expected to cost around US$1,099, while the 27-inch model may cost around US$1,799, also, since the upcoming device is said to feature a Touch Bar keyboard accessory, it is also possible that it might be a little pricier.
If there is more new technology to install in this machine, expect the price to increase.
The Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller has already confirmed a 2017 launch for the new iMac device. The iMac 2017 is previously expected to unveil this Worldwide Developer Conference or WWDC 2017 scheduled next month, but as the latest reports suggests that it could unveil in autumn.
Apple hasn't yet released any confirmation about these rumours. Speaking of WWDC 2017, even the event is usually focused on the Apple's software products, tech enthusiasts believe hardware will also be unveiled next month.
