The introduction of both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black shows that not only is Apple willing to go the extra mile incorporating a boatload of features to its new and improved devices, but it is brave enough to introduce a new color model, despite the existing ones being so popular. However, it looks like another color is going to be added to the existing lineup and according to supply chain sources, it will be coming in what’s referred to as ‘Jet White’.

Apples new colour IPhone

Similar to Jet Black, if the rumor turns out to be true, then you’ll be able to experience the other side of the color spectrum as far as smartphones go.

Unfortunately, the Japanese website Macotakara has said that these supply sources are considered unreliable, so consumers should not get too excited for the arrival of a brand new model. If you have not yet purchased an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 7 Plus, then it is recommended that you wait a while, not so a newer color model is introduced, but so the prices are dropped to fit in your budget.

However, assuming the Jet White model does getintroduced through some form of intervention, it cannot be believed that it will feature the same scratch resistant weakness as the Jet Black lineup. One reason for this is that the black color visibly starts showing those scratches and other signs of wear and tear, prompting consumers to purchase additional layers of protection ranging from a highly durable phone.

While this will increase the bulk of the smartphone, it will also protect it to a certain degree.

Assuming the rumor turns out to be true, Apple will probably be offering the Jet Black model at the same price tag as the regular models for the storage capacity that you intend on purchasing. Currently, both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in the 32, 128 and 256GB capacities, and it is recommended that for better read and write speeds and to gain a storage advantage for applications, media and software updates, you purchase the 128GB model.

For now, you should take this news with a bucket of salt.
