Bangladesh try to get over the Afghanistan test defeat

Bangladesh won't have the services of Tamim Iqbal who is taking a leave currently.

In his place, Bangladesh needs to find a suitable opening combination and it is expected Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das will do the job.

Mehidy Hasan has been dropped from the side while inexperienced players like Mahedi Hasan and Yeasin Arafat have been given a chance. Rest of the side is the same as their previous series under the captaincy of Shakib Al Hasan.

Raza sent back home on disciplinary grounds

Sikandar Raza has been sent back home due to disciplinary reasons.

The middle-order still has a lot of experienced players like Sean Williams, Brendan Taylor and Craig Ervine. Led by Hamilton Masakadza, Zimbabwe will hope that they come out of the ongoing dark phase in their Cricket with strong team performance in this series.

Dhaka has experienced a lot of rainfall in the past few days and that could happen again when the two collide against each other. The pitch though is expected to be good for batting.

Runs will come at a good rate if the match is played at all.
