Watch India v Aus highlights

New Zealand is leading the points table with three wins. India is at #4 with two points from two matches.

NZ skipper Kane Williamson has enough bowling prospects as he'll be up against a mighty Indian batting line-up. India has started its campaign with a couple of solid appearances against South Africa and Australia. New Zealand will look for another win against India to sustain its top spot in the points chart.

New Zealand team news

The match versus India would be the first authentic test that the Kiwis are going to face.

The Indian players after being beaten in the warm-up match will look to avenge the defeat by a comprehensive win which will take them right on top of the points table.

NZ successes have come against minnows like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, three of the lower-ranked sides.

Pitch report and weather conditions

The weather throughout the UK has been bad this month, and the forecast in Nottingham for Thursday is not very useful either.

Rain is forecast in Trent Bridge and a reduced over the game can be expected if the umpires decide. The pitch is small and there are plenty of runs on the platter for both the teams. Today the match is going to be played on a more centred pitch.
