Afghans seek continued dominance
Afghanistan has not secured the series but the side would like to test their benches and experiment with a different combination looking at the world cup which is just two and a half months away.
Samiullah Shenwari could get a spot in the side and could be assigned the job of middle-order batsman cum finisher while spinners like Zahir Khan could also get a look-in. It is unlikely that key men such as Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi or Hazratullah Zazai will be rested until the series is won.

Ireland aim for a resurgence
Unlike Afghanistan, Ireland will not have any headache of preparing for the World Cup as they failed to qualify for the tournament.
After this tour, the Irish boys will pretty much take some time out from cricket before their next assignment. With their bowlers performing well relatively well in the first two games, William Porterfield might not make any changes to his XI which takes the field on Tuesday.
After rain forced to abandon the second ODI, the weather in Dehradun has cleared up and it is expected that the third ODI will be played under bright sunshine.
The pitch is likely to stay on the slower side with all the rain around the area. Spinners and slow bowlers with variations will largely benefit on this track in Dehradun.
