Williamson's rest day give Munro another opportunity
Kane Williamson has been for the last ODI after a tiring summer of Cricket which saw the regular Kiwi captain playing all the matches. Colin Munro who has been named as the replacement is likely to slot back into the XI directly as the opener.
Bangladesh are currently at the 7th spot on ICC ODI Team Rankings.

According to the Cricbuzz report, Henry Nicholls might bat at no.
3, as Munro takes his opening spot. The team management will be tempted to try some of the benched players as this is a dead rubber. Tim Southee could get an opportunity and Trent Boult might get rested ahead of the three-match Test series.

Bangladesh's top order has performed badly on this tour so far and Liton Das hasn't really fired so far.
According to the Cricbuzz report, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun have some injuries concerns and this might actually save Das from getting dropped for the last one-dayer.
Having said that, Bangladesh might not change their XI and could show trust in the same lineup one more time as they prepare to find the right combination for the World Cup later this year in England.

The pitches in New Zealand offer ample amount of swing with pace and bounce early in the morning and the wicket in Dunedin is no different. Batting on this track and scoring runs may not be difficult, but it will be crucial that the batsmen see off the new ball. The weather is expected to clear with no threat of rain.
