Pakistan's bowling conundrum
Pakistan made a brave call by opting for Faheem Ashraf and Imad Wasim ahead of Mohammad Amir and Shaheen Afridi. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed may not tinker with the winning combination, but conditions in Durban may force Pakistan to go in with Shaheen or Amir instead of Faheem.

Fakhar Zaman who has been struggling with form lately and didn't come good in the previous game as well.
But, back up opener Shan Masood might sit on the bench a little bit more after the faith shown by the team management on Zaman. Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik can come in handy for the captain in Durban as the wicket is slightly on the slower side.
Proteas aim to come back on a batting friendly Kingsmead pitch
South Africa didn't bat poorly in Port Elizabeth but couldn't build on the foundation laid by Hashim Amla and debutant Rassie van der Dussen.
Captain Faf du Plessis may think of slotting in Aiden Markram in the opener's role for once alongside Amla before Quinton de Kock comes back. Even though the Proteas doesn't lack the firepower, it certainly lacks experience.

The Kingsmead pitch has something for the bowlers, but in recent times it has been really good for batting.
Under the hot sun in Durban, the wicket will get hard and produce some bounce. It will be a bright sunny day in the outfield, and the temperatures will come down as the day moves forward.
