With an eye on the winning the series, Australia will face India in the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. The match will begin at 1:50 PM ACDT, 8:50 AM IST.
Australia won the first ODI by 34 runs in Sydney on Saturday. Rohit Sharma's heroic century couldn't save India from sinking to a loss after young Aussie pacer Jhye Richardson bowled a good spell of 4 for 26 from his ten overs.
Australia would sense a chance of an important series win while India would know that another loss and they will lose this series.

A hot day awaits the two sides in Adelaide
Australia hadn't released their XI a day before the game as they did in the Sydney ODI. According to the ESPN report, vice-captain Alex Carey has confirmed that all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will be available for selection in this game.
Marsh had missed the previous game due to a stomach illness. Australia may not change anything in their middle-order as their batting unit had performed well in the last game.
Even though India called in Vijay Shankar in the middle of the series, but it is unlikely that he would feature in this game. Kedar Jadhav missed out from the last game, and Dinesh Karthik was given an opportunity.
With Ambati Rayudu's getting suspected with illegal action, Jadhav may be slotted back into the XI to provide the captain with some overs.
Dhoni's slow batting during the 1st ODI is a cause of concern for India, even though he scored a half-century, it was not enough for India to win the match. Hopefully, he increases his run-rate when he gets a chance to play in this match.
A very warm and sunny welcome here at Adelaide as #TeamIndia sweat it out in the nets ahead of the 2nd ODI.#AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/4OkUI3Nk8A

According to an ESPN Cricinfo report, the Adelaide Oval has had some low-scoring one-day matches in recent times where pacers have enjoyed bowling. The weather forecast predicts a bright and sunny day as the temperatures might go as high as 38 degrees Celsius.
