Ashley Young out with an injury
The trio of Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, and Ander Herrera will not be available for this crucial game. Young led the club during their Saturday's Premier League loss to West Ham while Herrera and Lingard had missed that game as well.
Defender Marcos Rojo hasn't played in this season yet due to his injury and will continue to be in the sidelines.
United is going through a dip in form as they have not won any of their three games which were played since their 3-0 win against Young Boys in their first Champions League game this season. United is currently at the top of Group H.
As reported by BBC, Manager Jose Mourinho stated that some of his players "care more than others" in a press conference in the build-up to the game when he was questioned about the team's poor run.
The match against Valencia will be crucial for Manchester United as they are gonna play two back-to-back home games in the Champions League as Juventus is set to tour Old Trafford on October 23, 2018.
