The Dutch hope Rippon to continue good form
The Netherlands have some thinking to do regarding their batting as they failed to post a big score in the first game. Stephan Myburgh, Michael Rippon, and Bas de Leede were the only three batsmen who looked to have found some nick with the bat in that match and the team will hope the trio converts the starts into a big knock.
In the bowling department, the Dutch look pretty settled after they defended just 189 runs in the previous game.
Captain Pieter Seelar along with Rippon and Fred Klaasen picked up three wickets each. The hosts are likely to go into this game with an unchanged side.
Nepalese spinners key in the do-or-die game
The Nepalese openers, Gyanendra Malla and Anil Sah had laid a perfect platform in the previous game to go and register a historic win, but they failed to cash in and got all out for just 134 runs.
Bowlers Sandeep Lamichhane, Shakti Gauchan and Sompal Kami hold key for the inexperienced side in this crucial contest. Captain Paras Khadka will also be a key member with his all rounding skills, while Dipendra Airee will be kept an eye on as well.
The forecast updates seem to be absolutely clear with no rain expected on Friday in Amstelveen.
The pitch is expected to provide some initial swing with the new ball, while the spinners may come into play with the older ball.
