Cricket will return to the shores of the United States of America when Windies take on Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida on Saturday, August 4, 2018.
The match will start at 08:00 PM local, 6:00 AM BST (August 5).
Windies are leading the three-match T20I series 1-0, having beaten Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the first T20I in Basseterre.
The visitors had posted a modest total of 143 runs and the Windies were given a DLS adjusted target of 91 runs from 11 overs due to rain. The hosts comfortably chased the target down on the back of Andre Russell's man of the match efforts.
Final scorecard:
Bangladesh beat West Indies by 12 runs in the second T20I at Florida, USA.
The match can be watched live on the Gazi Tv channel in Bangladesh. Sony Six will telecast the match live in India. Follow the instructions in the below tweet to watch the Ban v WI 2nd t20 live streaming.
Cottrell or Badree?
According to a report on Cricbuzz, Sheldon Cottrell might get a spot in the playing XI in place of Samuel Badree. Badree was expensive in the first game and Cottrell has impressed with the ball in the recent times.
Windies may not make any changes to their line-up, as it is always better to go into a match with a winning combination.
Bangladesh's dilemma in the do-or-die game
Soumya Sarkar has had a very difficult year so far, and this also led to his exclusion from the test and one-day side. He was flown in for the T20I series but he failed to get a score in the first game. According to Cricbuzz, this might prompt Bangladesh to play Sabbir Rahman in place of Sarkar. Rest of the XI should be unchanged.
The pitch in Florida has produced some run-fests in the past due to the flat pitches and short boundaries. So, it is expected to be a batting-friendly surface and bowlers will find it difficult. There are some chances of rain as the recent forecast around the region hasn't been really pleasing.
