A trip to Selhurst Park is never an easy task for any Premier league team, but with the recent history between crystal palace and Liverpool Jurgen Klopp will be looking to pick up all three points on Saturday evening.

As a Liverpool fan, I can't say I have ever looked forward to playing Crystal Palace after the traumatic experience suffered in the 2014/15 season when they ruined the dreams of Liverpool securing their first ever Premier League title, with a 3-1 victory.

The Eagles go in to the game with a poor run of results but we certainly can't write them off as they always seem to play superb against Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopps men will be expecting all three points which would keep them on the toes of current league leaders, Manchester City who face an easy enough fixture away to West Brom so all three points for the reds is a must.

Ex Liverpool striker, Christian Benteke is expected to be named in the Palace squad and it's a definite he will be given a positive appreciation from the travelling Liverpool fans.

Benteke will face Liverpool for the first time in the Premier League since his £32 million Pound move from the reds and he will be dreaming of scoring a goal against his old club. The Belgium International has a very impressive record against the reds, as he's scored in 5 out of 6 games against them in all competitions.

Promising news for Liverpool fans, Divick Origi has been announced fully fit despite struggling with cramp in Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Spurs on Tuesday.

Joe Gomez has also returned to training after suffering a long spell on the side lines due to a knee injury.

Scott Dann is expected to return to the starting 11 for Palace after suffering a hamstring injury
