Rumours have been rife for months of Lacazette's potential move to Arsenal and have only increased since Lyon revealed they have rejected a £29.3 million approach from the Gunners. It remains to be seen whether Lyon will sell their prize asset, however if they do Lacazette could be the man to speahead Arsenal's title challenge.

Lacazette is a proven. 21 goals in 34 games in Lyon's 2015/16 Ligue 1 campaign has ignited interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs. Second only to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the scoring charts, Lacazette could provide an alternative goal scoring threat to the inconsistent Olivier Giroud.

Arsene Wenger has stoutly defended Giroud throughout his Arsenal career and if Lacazette were to join, it would be to play with Giroud, not instead of.
