After Juventus had won Serie A earlier in the season, yesterday they also won the Coppa Italia, after they passed by Lazio by 2-1, in extra-time. It is the tenth Coppa Italia in Juventus history and the first one after 20 years.

After only 11 minutes, the result was 1-1 between Juventus and Lazio. Stefan Radu scored for Lazio after 4 minutes, Giorgio Chiellini equalizing in 11th minute.

No goals was scored again until the 90th minute. In extra-time, Alessandro Matri, who came from the bench at the 84th minute, scored the goal which allowed "the Old Lady" to win the Cup. We should remember that Alvaro Morata, the new Juventus star, who qualified for the Italian side in the Champions League final, didn't play because of a red card received in second leg of the semifinal against Fiorentina. Claudio Marchisio was another suspension, while the goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was rested.

In Serie A, Juventus won both matches with Lazio, 3-0 away and 2-0 home. However, the match wasn't so easy for them, as Djordjevic couldn't bring victory in last minutes of regular time and missed a great chance - a one vs one with goalkeeper Storari.

Djordjevic had a second chance, also, in extra-time, but his "rocket" hit the post.

It was the 58th trophy won by Juventus in their history. In two weeks time, Massimiliano Allegri's team will play for another trophy: UEFA Champions League. The final will be against Barcelona. It will be the third Champions League/European Cup for Juventus. If they'll win the trophy, it will be first treble in Juventus history (Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League in same season).

After the match, Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, said that it was a great final and that they'll keep focus from now on, on the Champions League final, which will be on 6th June. This summer, there will be many transfers in Allegri's team. The most important seems to be Paul Pogba, who will leave Juventus to join Barcelona, for at least 80 million euros. In his place, Allegri could bring Edinson Cavani, from PSG.
