Anyone who watches CNN knows that they give prominent coverage to things like the Paris and Nice attacks, as well as domestic terrorist attacks. In fact, on slow news days they actually hype terrorist attacks which aren’t that significant considering you are more likely to be killed by a lightning strike than by a terrorist in the US.
What is Trump doing?
So, why did President trump take time yesterday at US Central Command to tell the assembled troops that the lying media doesn’t even report many terrorist attacks? Is there any basis to this claim? Well, yes and no, but almost entirely no.
The media only has so much space or time so we often ignore the many stories where terrorist attacks are foiled, or where they don’t even result in any casualties because there are thousands of those each year.

The University of Maryland Terrorist Database lists 150,000 terrorist incidents of some sort.
White house list
Challenged to back up the claim of media ignoring terrorist attacks the Trump White House released a list of 78 terrorist attacks which they say the media under reported. The list included attacks in the far East where no one was even injured, yet they left out the recent attack in Quebec where a white Canadian citizen killed a number of Muslims at prayer.
That alone should make it clear what the Trump White House is doing - President Trump wants to raise the level of fear in the US to a fever pitch as every dictator does to keep power and as even democratic leaders do in order to get a country ready for war.
And they want to focus only on attacks which are committed by Muslims against white people because, in addition to the Quebec terrorist attack, the Trump White House also left out a number of mid-East attacks where Muslim terrorists killed other Muslims.
In fact, the entire ISIS campaign could easily be classified as a Muslim on Muslim terror campaign.

Based on the numbers you are safer living next door to a Muslim terrorist than a US policeman or by driving a car.
Despite the campaign hype and constant demands that people be afraid of Muslims, be very afraid, and the daily attacks on the press, the actual fact is that a white American in the US has less than one chance in a billion of being killed by a Muslim, or any other terrorist.
According to the Cato Institute (a respected think tank), the odds of anyone being killed by refugee terrorist in United States is one in 3.6 billion.
There is a far higher chance of being killed by a US policeman (especially when you include high-speed car chases) than by a Muslim terrorist, 55 times more likely and, something which will surprise many, twice as many whites as blacks are killed by cops.
Here are a few things President Trump hasn’t warned against.

Even the chance of being killed by an asteroid is 1 in 200,000, 10,000 times higher than being killed in the US by a Muslim immigrant terrorist.
