A world renowned search marketing conference is coming to London for the second time.
Search Marketing Expo (SMX) is returning to the capital on Tuesday 23rd May to Wednesday 24th May to assist well-established companies with improving their marketing techniques.
Following on from a successful event in the City last year, the conference intends to continue its mission to bring this type of advertising to the forefront of different companies' advertising priorities.
'Organisations are stepping up their content'
Third Door Media's Vice President of Programming and Partner Chris Sherman, who attended last year's conference, said the event provided him with new insights into what other organisations are doing.
He added: 'It is great to see so many other companies stepping up their content.'
With search marketing quickly overtaking other types of promotion for different businesses, SMX's 2017 event is designed to tailor organisations' promotional needs in a changing world.
The conference provides sessions that teach different businesses how to use varying tools like search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and online marketing to improve their online promotion methods.
These sessions are also designed to help companies prepare for future challenges in these fields.
'You learn something new every time'
According to SMX's website, it does not matter whether you are new to SME or highly experienced at it, this event is designed to accommodate every business learning about this strategy.
Representatives from famous organisations like Eurostar have attended past conferences.
The SEO Manager for Eurostar, Luc Durand, said there are so many different tools out there.
He says he learns something new every time he goes there.
'Helps you view where the online industry is going'
A particular attraction of this event is the Google classrooms, which teach business representatives how to make the most of online promotion.
Last year, Google's Product Marketing Manager, Sean Quadlin, said the best thing about these Google classrooms is that you get to interact with new people.
Google's Product Specialist, Oliver Petas, said the Google classrooms provide an opportunity to receive feedback for your search marketing tools and advice on how to adapt them.
Other visible companies which have attended these events in the past include Facebook.
The Europe, Middle East and Asia Marketing Manager of Facebook, Gareth O'Neill, said last year's conference helped him view where the online industry is going in the future.
