Solitude for Paris
It is an emotional and meaningful symbol that has touched people's hearts around the world. From London, USA and even far as Australia, this symbol has brought a way to calm down and ask for peace. On Friday 13th ; Paris became the centre of a terrible night of terror.The latest death toll over 128 innocent people died and more than 100 still in critical conditions, this attack was no ordinary attack and was thoughtfully planned.
Social media backing
The sketch of the symbol as made an impact all over social media.It has been retweeted almost 60,000 times, liked 160,000 times on Instagram and liked 24,000 times on Facebook.
Since Friday's attacks people all over the world have supported Paris with their own way. Facebook allowed users to filter their photo's with the french flag as a symbol of prayer.Famous landmarks around the globe light up in the night with the red, white and blue colours of the French flag to pay respects as the whole world comes to terms of this devastating time for Paris.
It has not all been simple on social media, some people did not like the pray for Paris hash tag and commented about other events that have happened around the world. A day before the Paris attacks saw another attack in Beirut that saw 43 people die from a double suicide attack; this has caused upset on social media and feel they are forgotten.
Imagine for Paris and The World
Outside the Richard Leniorten meters from the Bataclan; which saw the bloodiest scenes from the attacks. A normal person in society had the time to sit down and playthe notes of 'Imagine' by John Lennon. This song has brought the world closer together and shows a different perception of life. In the song the lyrics say " I hope someday you will join us.
And the world will be as one".
Bringing peace not just to Paris but also to the entire World as they have all suffered the deaths of loved ones by the hand of Terrorism. The whole world is now in peril but are united as one to fight terrorism and bring peace to everybody.
