The Function Band are a fantastic team of talented singers and musicians from all corners of Europe who create an immersive experience for guests to enjoy. Since 2002 the band has performed at countless corporate events, charity events, weddings, birthdays and more, creating special memories that last a lifetime with their unforgettable live performances.

Father and son business

TFB was the brainchild of Managing Director Dan Rosen, who has over 17 years of experience in the events industry, along with his father and business partner, Bradley.

Bradley says: "People relate to the father-and-son partnership as it feels like family, and they like that feeling while planning their function, as looking for a musical act is a crucial part of any big day."

Celebrity fans

The band are also a magnet for celebrity fans and have previously performed at actor Steve Coogan's 50th birthday celebrations, numerous celebrity weddings, and Premier League footballing events.

Recently, they even shared the stage with Scottish pop sensation Lewis Capaldi in Boston, USA. TFB also managed to coax Irish football legend Robbie Keane up on stage to sing the Neil Diamond classic "Sweet Caroline" at the wedding of his brother-in-law.

What has been your career highlight?

"Singing "Don't Stop Me Now" with the Queen legend that is Roger Taylor on drums!"

What is it like working together as father and son?

"We love working together; we bring different dynamics to the business. With it being a family business, and us being extremely close, we find that clients find us relatable."

Have you faced any challenges while growing the business?

"The last few years have really taken off, and the challenge has been being able to keep up with the demand.

We now have six employees working from our beautiful new offices, TFB House. We cannot complain; we love being busy and entertaining hundreds of people every week."

What's next for The Function Band?

"Continue to grow and continue our success."

Best event you have ever played at?

"Performing to 2000 people in Boston Massachusetts while sharing a stage with Lewis Capaldi."

Favourite celebrity you have ever sung to?

"Sang to - Liv Tyler. Sang with - Robbie Keane! We were fortunate to perform at the incredible Adare Manor, and Tottenham and Ireland legend Robbie Keane joined us in a sing-song of the Neil Diamond classic, "Sweet Caroline"! It was such a great moment, and there is a fantastic video that sums it all up."

If you could perform for anyone in the world, who would be?

"We are incredibly blessed to have performed for many amazing people, and celebrities or not, we just love being a part of the client's special events."
