The Paris game week holding from the 1st to 5th of November in Paris at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is an annual Video Game fair that started in 2010. The event has continued to grow annually and features; developers, gamers, video game enthusiasts, journalists and game manufacturers.

A few days before #PGW2017, Sony through their US PlayStation blog announced that E3 was only half the story. This pronouncement by Sony heightened our expectations for the video game trade fair holding in Paris. PlayStation’s Media Showcase delivered as promised with some interesting video game teaser trailers and additional content for already released games.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world samurai epic in feudal Japan, the story revolves around a samurai fighting against the Mongol empire that invaded Japan in 1274. The trailer revealed stunning graphics; the depiction of the trees and landscape truly reminiscent of Japan.The game was developed by Sucker Punch, a release date is yet to be announced.

The Last of Us 2

Naughty Dog's The Last of Us 2 trailer made an impression with the introduction of new characters.The first teaser trailer featured Joel and Ellie five years older. The plot remains a mystery but Naughty Dog has a reputation for making games with great graphics and telling beautiful stories.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

Peter Parker is 23 and trying to juggle between his personal life and life as a hero. The teaser trailer shows us a glimpse of Kingpin but the major villain of the story is Mister Negative who incidentally is Aunt May's employer. Marvel's Spider-Man is developed by Insomniac games will be released in 2018.

God of War

Kratos continues he quest as a demi-god but with a little twist - he is accompanied by his son. He must teach his son to be better than himself and battle his demons on his journey. The game is expected in 2018.

Erica

Erica is an interactive live-action drama developed by Flavourworks in collaboration with PlayStation.

The game promises to give gamers a cinematic experience with no interruptions in gameplay. Players will be able to play with touchscreen devices with the use of PlayLink. The game offers a truly immersive experience with player choices determining the flow of the game.The graphics look very real; there is no official release date for the title yet.

Shadow of the Colossus

This is a remake of the impressive PlayStation 2 title released in 2005. The remake on PlayStation for will be taking advantage of the superior graphics and processor. The teaser trailer impressive improvements in graphics and stunning visuals.The action adventure game is set to be released February 2018.

Concrete Genie

Developed by Pixelopus the creators of Entwined this beautiful action adventure lets you use the Dualshock 4 wireless controller’s motion sensor function to effortlessly paint incredible landscapes and unique creatures to clean up the polluted town of Denska. The game is about a young boy dealing with bullies but finds art as an outlet. This game is also expected sometime in 2018.
