Thus Aamir Khan's Dangal surpassed Prabhas's 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' collection at the worldwide box office as of now with a slight margin.
However, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is yet to release in China and Taiwan markets, where it is going to be released in China in the month of July and an official release date on the same is awaited from the filmmakers.
Who is going to win the Battle?
As Dangal is steady at the Chinese box office, it is estimated to mint another Rs 250 crores minimum from the ticket window, taking the total China collection to Rs 1000 crores and worldwide collection to above Rs 1769 crores in the total run.
While the movie is going to release in Japan and Korea markets in the month of June/July and if the film succeeds in these markets too then it will lead Nitesh Tiwari's sports drama to mint above Rs 2000 crores worldwide.
On the other hand, Bahubali 2 slowed down after the end of its fourth-weekend run and it is estimated to mint a maximum amount of Rs 1630 crores in its first phase release.
Even though Bahubali 2 is already a winner when compared to Dangal initial release collections of Rs 744 crores, it still needs to prove itself in markets like China, Taiwan and others to surpass the worldwide collection of 'Dangal' in its final run.
So it will be a difficult task to predict who is going to win this battle for now, but, both the films are the pride of Indian Film Industry by expanding the markets with their terrific revenues at the box office.
