It collected Nizam - Rs 5.89 crores, Ceeded - Rs 1.53 crores, Uttarandhra - Rs 1.84 crores, East Godavari - Rs 1.09 crores, West Godavari - Rs 62 lakhs, Krishna - Rs 1.08 crores, Guntur - Rs 95 lakhs and Nellore - Rs 35 lakhs.

The Karnataka and rest of the areas 9 days collection of 'Guru' is Rs 1.6 crores share and Rs 0.44 lakhs share.

As the film's rights were bought for Rs 1.24 crores in Karnataka, it remained as a profitable venture for the distributor of this region.

The total 9 days worldwide collection of Venkatesh's sports drama 'Guru' is Rs 15.79 crores share. This is a superb amount for Sudha K Prasad's directional project at the ticket window which is made under a budget less than Rs 10 crores.

On the other hand, no major competition from other releases at the ticket window for 'Guru' in Telugu states is going to help the sports drama to continue its dream run until the release of Varun Tej's 'Mister' on April 14th.

The movie is an official remake of Tamil film 'Irudhi Suttru' which released in Hindi as 'Saala Khadoos' starring Madhavan in the lead role. Santosh Naryanan of 'Kabali' fame composed the music and it is produced by S Sashikanth under his Y NOT Studios banner.
