Now, the fans of Mohanlal are eagerly waiting to see their star's upcoming film '1971 Beyond Borders' to break the opening day record set by Mammootty's 'The Great Father'.

It completely depends upon a number of screens and shows aired on the first day along with the initial response from the public. Mammooty's 'The Great Father' released in 202 screens with 958 shows on the first day, if the similar release was planned for Mohanlal's '1971 Beyond Borders' then it will have high chances to break the 'The Great Father' 1st-day collections record at the Kerela box office.
