Earlier, Suriya's best on opening day is 24 movie which minted Rs 6 lakhs but Singam 3 minted Rs 9.45 lakhs on opening day in Cochin Multiplex to remain as career best opening for the actor. The movie is going to have 26 shows in cochin Multiplexes on Day 2 as it needs to share the screen space with new movie 'Ezra' which is going to be aired 35 shows.
On the other hand, the movie released in 218 theaters across Kerela on the 1st day and it was expected to have the good opening on day 1.
The day one collection at Kerela was expected to mint between Rs 2.8 to 3.5 crores gross.
