'Puli Murugan' movie 150 days Kerela and Ap/Tg collections
The film performed extremely well at the Kerela box office and remained as an all-time blockbuster hit by minting Rs 86.54 crores gross. The share amount will be close to Rs 37.29 crores.
'Puli Murugan' is the first Malayalam movie which crossed Rs 75 crores mark in Kerela and it almost doubled the Malayalam movie market in this region.
On the other hand, the movie minted Rs 6.5 crores share from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where the gross amount is close to Rs 10.5 crores. It remained as the biggest hit for Mohanlal in Telugu states as the film's rights were sold for Rs 1 crores and the movie earned close to Rs 4.5 crores profit for its distributors excluding prints and publicity costs.

The movie performed extremely well overseas as well. it collected close to Rs 49.5 crores gross in its final run and the share amount is Rs 21.3 crores.
In the rest of the India, it collected close to Rs 6.5 crores gross and the share amount is close to Rs 2.8 crores.

The total worldwide collections of the movie are close to Rs 152 crores gross and the share amount is close to Rs 68 crores.
Thus 'Puli Murugan' attained the level of first Malayalam movie to gross Rs 100 and Rs 150 crores mark at the worldwide box office.
