'Katamarayudu' new release date: - Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu' release preponed from March 29th to March 24th. Even though the filmmakers have planned to release the film on March 29th, it was known that they have now decided to come one week before than the actual date. This comes in as a surprise for Powerstar fans are they are happy on hearing this release date postponement news.
Currently, the movie's shooting is in final stages and it will be wrapped by the end of the February. let's check audio release and other details of the movie below.
No audio release function for the film
Following the latest trend of Tollywood Industry, the makers of the film decided to release the audio directly into the market without holding audio launch function. Instead of audio launch function, the makers want to come up with a pre-release function in the third week of March 2017 which is going to be held in Andhra Pradesh and an official update on the venue for this pre-release function is awaited from the movie team.
Movie crossed Rs 100 pre-release business
The film did a superb pre-release business close to Rs 105 crores worldwide. The total worldwide Theatrical rights fetched around Rs 87 to 88 crores and the satellite, audio and other rights fetched around Rs 16 crores.
This is the second movie of Pawan Kalyan to cross Rs 100 crores pre-release business after 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' which did a pre-release business of Rs 108.5 crores worldwide.
Film's cast and crew details
The movie has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role and the actress is acting besides Pawan Kalyan for the second after 'Gabbar Singh' movie.
The film was directed by Dolly of 'Gopala Gopala' fame and the music was composed by Anup Rubens. Sharrath Marar produced the movie under his Northstar Entertainments banner.
Nonetheless, the movie is an official remake of Ajith Kumar's 'Veeram' movie which is dubbed as 'Verudokkade'. However, the lead actress confirmed that even though the plot of 'Katamarayudu' inherited from 'Veeram' movie, the film was said to be completely different one from the original version.
