"Shatamanam Bhavati" is a movie which explores the dynamics of the relationship between grandfather and a grandson. It elevates the village atmosphere and how today's generation are missing them in their busy life. Sharwanand played the role of a grandson to Prakash Raj and he is seen as a village guy who lives with his grandparents. One fine day, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha invite their daughter Indraja's family to their village on the eve of Sankranthi. Anupama Parameswaran is the daughter of Indraja and she falls in love with Sharwanand during their visit. The rest of the story deals with how they succeed in their love, family emotions and showcasing beautiful Village traditions.
Sharwanand did well in his role as usual with his natural performance. Anupama Parameswaran is decent in her role. Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are the key assets of the film with their superb performance. Mickey J Meyer music is one of the plus points of the movie. Production values are good. The director Satish Vegesna has come up with a decent subject which can attract the family audience with its content.
Overall, "Shatamanam Bhavati" is a decent watch for this Sankranthi which shows the family bonding, village atmosphere, and relationship between grandson and grandfather.
