"Gautamiputra Satakarni" deals with the story of the unsung hero Gautamiputra Satakarni and how he won the battle over Britishers. Balakrishna did extremely well in the role of Satakarni, he once again attracted everyone with his powerful dialogues and high-octane action sequences, his performance is one of the Highlights of the movie. Shriya Saran performed decently in her role. Hema Malini and Shiva Raj Kumar did their jobs perfectly. Music and Background score composed by Chirantan Bhatt is the huge asset for the movie.
The director Krish did a superb job by bringing up a story about "Gautamiputra Satakarni" which many Telugu people are not aware of and he did his best to show the movie in a rich grandeur look, he made it engaging till the end with a gripping screenplay.
