A pirated version of Bollywood movie ‘Dear Zindagi’ starring Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan is now available online, according to some reports. The movie was released in India on Friday, and the pirated version of the movie was available later in the day on internet.
As per reports, the leaked version of Dear Zindagi is not of very good quality, although it may be liked by the people who prefer watching new releases free on internet rather than spending money to watch them in theatres.
Film piracy in India
For the past couple of years, film makers in Bollywood have worked pro-actively to counter the menace of film piracy in India.
Recently, several Hindi movies have leaked online, including Udta Punjab, Manji: The Mountain Man, Sultan, a few of which were even leaked days before their official release.
Response of the audience
Meanwhile, Dear Zindagi has reportedly received a nice response from the audience. The movie depicts the story of a filmmaker Kaira and a psychiatrist (cum life coach) Jehangir Khan. Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of Jehangir Khan makes entry almost an hour after the start of the film, but neither his delayed entry nor the current cash crunch in the country could lower the enthusiasm of King Khan’s fans, who reportedly threw notes in the air in a theatre in Hyderabad.
The superstar thanked all his fans on Twitter saying: "If this is actual currency, what can I say.
It's kind of lavish to say the least. Thanks for the rich welcome."
During a promotional event in Singapore, Alia Bhatt said it was a “magical experience” working with Shah Rukh Khan in the movie and she is now missing her co-star.
“Personally, I've learned a lot from him which I don't want to share with anybody. I am really missing him today," Alia said.
She said their team is busy for the past few weeks promoting the film, and she is now missing the days when they were shooting the film. She revealed about the dinner they had at a Mexican restaurant in Singapore where they enjoyed Hindi songs along with the dinner.
