Gavin Sherriff

Contributor

A journalist with more than thirty years experience, Gavin’s career in newspapers culminated in him being appointed Chief Reporter (London) for Scotland’s legendary newspaper, The Sunday Post. As a reporter he covered major stories such as the Zeebrugge ferry disaster, IRA bombings, the murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman by Ian Huntley, and the Ipswich murders. It wasn’t all serious stuff, though. He’s interviewed a Gorilla, flown in a fast jet with the RAF and interviewed sporting icons such as Sir Chris Hoy. These days he writes about books and money.
