"The Circle" is set to return on 24th September 2019, and the hit social media-based game show is already causing a stir when it comes to this year's players. Fans of the show are already questioning if anyone will attempt Alex's game once again, how many of the players will bring a pet and how far will the lies go when it comes to gaining popularity.
Get some sympathy
We all remember last year’s player. Freddie Bentley who first won his fellow players over with the sort of his dead dog, Buddy who in reality did not and had never existed. But for the animal lovers and dog owners in the game just the thought of losing their best canine friend was enough to gain their trust. (Image credit: 4od/The Circle)
Be yourself
Unless of course you can fake being someone else. Last year double winner Alex Holborn played as Kate using photographs of his real-life girlfriend Mille. However, Alex was not the only one to use a fake persona, Welsh girl Sinead attempted to play as sixty-five-year-old Christopher using photographs of her Grandfather. Meanwhile Mairead, 57 went full catfish by using images of a random woman she found online. (Image credit: 4od/The Circle)
Have a secret
In series one, new Mother. Genelle decided she did not want to play the game without her baby Daughter, Santana. While the viewers at home got to say "aww" to the adorable baby girl, Genelle's fellow players had no idea she had entered with a baby. However, she did eventually come clean with her secret while some players chose to keep theirs hidden. (Image credit: 4od/The Circle)
Use your talents
How could anyone forget Psychic Ryan, who entered the game in the hopes that his psychic would help his game play and his chances of winning. Ryan hoped that he would be able to separate the liars and the cheats from the players who were actually being honest about themselves. (Image credit: 4od/The Circle)
Anyone can be anyone
As the series two tagline states, this is a show where "anyone can be anyone" and after the success and shocks of the first series, many Players this time round may be more suspicious then ever. Players will be even more skilled in their gameplay this year to avoid being blocked from "The Circle". (Image credit: Channel 4/YouTube.com)
