In terrifying news, a whistleblower has announced that visitors to the museum in the Grand Canyon during the years from 2000 and 18 June 2018 were exposed to dangerous levels of radiation. This is from three paint buckets in the building containing uranium ore. The park’s safety director says nothing was done to warn visitors or park workers of the dangers of being exposed to unsafe levels of radiation. Reportedly one bucket was so full, they couldn’t close its lid.
5-gallon buckets filled with highly radioactive uranium ore was kept amongst exhibits at a visitor center in Grand Canyon National Park for years. https://t.co/WudvvD3poK
