PTV Sports Live Cricket Streaming Pakistan Super League 2019 Hum Masala to broadcast in UK

Pakistan Super League 2019 is all set to launch on February 14, 2019, in Dubai. The tournament will be played between six teams involving the best of Pakistan and the international cricketers.

This will be the fourth edition of the Premier T20 league which is administrated by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Here are 5 things to know about the PSL 2019:

Opening match

The opening match will be played between the defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars on February 14, 2019, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match will begin at 10:45 PM PKT, 9:45 PM Local, 5:45 PM GMT. Both teams have a new captain. United have appointed Mohammad Sami as their leader while Mohammad Hafeez will lead the Lahore side.

PTV Sports broadcasing the event

Geo Super and PTV Sports will broadcast the matches of PSL 2019 in Pakistan. Hum Masala will telecast the matches in the United Kingdom and Europe while Willow TV will broadcast the games in the United States. DSports will televise the matches in India.

Schedule and format

After the opening game in Dubai on the 14th February, all the six teams will play in a double round-robin league stage consisting of a total of 30 matches. This will be followed by the playoffs consisting of Qualifier 1, Eliminator and Qualifier 2 which will be played on March 12, 13 and 15 respectively. The final of PSL 2019 will be played on March 17 at the National Stadium in Karachi.

PSL Teams

The same six teams participating in this year's competition as the ones which took part in the last season. The six teams are Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultan and Lahore Qalandars.

UAE Venues

Abu Dhabi is the new addition of venue for this season of PSL. Four of the matches will be played there along with several games in Dubai and Sharjah. In addition to this, eight matches will be played in Pakistan across Lahore and Karachi.
