4 new exciting series coming to Netflix and the return of a favourite

Streaming on Netflix next month we have a true-life romance/crime drama series just in time for Valentine's Day. The next day a new superhero series is launched on Netflix.

March sees a new comedy series in which Idris Elba both stars and produces. Elba plays a single guy and struggling DJ in the Netflix show.

In April, Netflix streams "Our Planet," a documentary about our precious Earth with amazing footage. Looking ahead to July, we see the return of a beloved series, "Stranger Things" as season three finally launches. There has been no official trailer as yet, but two teaser trailers are included below for your viewing pleasure.

'Dirty John' - Real-life crime - 14 February 2019

“Dirty John” is an eight-part, true crime anthology which is based on the Los Angeles Times podcast. It stars Connie Britton and Eric Cana and is a provocative, harrowing and sexy thriller following the real events of an online dating relationship that went wrong and shocked the world. A chilling love story for Valentine's Day.

'The Umbrella Academy' - Superhero drama - 15 February 2019

Several babies were born to women who didn’t know they were pregnant that day. All are gifted and talented individuals who end up at The Umbrella Academy, a dysfunctional family of superheroes. They get together to solve the mystery of their adopted father’s death, as well as the threat of the apocalypse. The series stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper and Mary J Blige and is based on the graphic novel written by Gerald Way.

'Turn Up Charlie' - Comedy - 15 March 2019

As yet, there is no trailer for this one but the comedy series stars, and is produced by Idris Elba. The series tells the story of a single guy and struggling DJ who ends up becoming the reluctant childminder of his best friend’s difficult daughter.

'Our Planet' - David Attenborough documentary - 5 April 2019

David Attenborough narrates this fascinating documentary series about our planet, Earth. it takes viewers on an unprecedented journey through some of the world's most precious natural habitats. The documentary comes from the team behind "Blue Planet" and "Planet Earth."

'Stranger Things' - Season 3 - 4th July 2019

Fans will be thrilled to finally view season 3, coming in July, with all our favourite characters, some of which are working at the new Harcourt Mall and some new people too.
