Vostell Malpartida Museum - Calle los Barruecos, s/n, Cáceres, Spain

Wolf Vostell is a German artist who in 1974 visited Los Barruecos in Cáceres, Spain. He found an 18th century wool washing house and turned it into a fascinating art museum. A member of the Fluxus art movement, he created a wonderful, dystopian scene, using cars, plates, pianos, multiple computer monitors and Russian aircraft. The Fluxus movement aims to “purge the world of dead art” and that certainly applies here.
