Prithvi Shaw scores a century on Test debut
With Murli Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan been left out from the squad for the two-Test matches against Windies, the 18-year-old Prithvi Shaw was given his debut Test cap during the first Test in Rajkot. He scored a century on debut. Shaw was also the part of the squad which played the last two Tests in England in early September but didn't get a place in the XI.
A century on debut for 18-year old Prithvi Shaw and a maiden Test five-for for Kuldeep Yadav. In addition, India recorded their highest margin of victory in Tests.
