The Russians are not used to receiving lectures about morality from the leaders who are accusing #The Russian Federation of state-sponsored terrorism without presenting any evidence. Especially since the UN (USA, UK and France) outrage at Syrian suffering appears to apply only for the one of the sides of the hostilities,

Following the alleged poison gas attack in Syria (the Douma district in what was until recently a hotly-contested area in eastern Ghouta), US President Donald Trump has threatened Russia with imminent military action against the Syrian armed forces.

As he wrote on Twitter: "Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria.

Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!"

Trump is wrong

And another statement: (Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump) "Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?"

So, Mr. Trump wants obviously to say, there is no point in reckoning with Russia’s opinion, because the US would be able to dictate the terms in every sphere in the future.

But today’s Russia is elevating civilian science and industry to a competitive international level using accumulated potential of the rearmament experiences.

Russia ranks among the leading countries in numerous key research areas; nanotechnology, atomic energy, clean energy, computer science. It’s not the czars’ Russia anymore! The digital economy era is coming there.

Very sad!

The TASS information agency reports that the alleged use of poison gas in the Douma in the view of the Russian military had been faked by the Syrian activist group, the so-called White Helmets at the request of the Western powers. At the beginning of this week, the Russian Ambassador to the UN had warned in a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York that a US attack on the "legitimate Syrian government" would have "very negative consequences".

The "New York Times" reported that Trump's government is considering a more violent attack this time, which can last for a few days. One way would be for the US military to attack multiple targets. At present, the destroyer USS Donald Cook is on the road in the Mediterranean. He is reportedly equipped with cruise missiles of the type "Tomahawk".

The latest Trumps statements seems to prove that the US, against any reason, really wants an open confrontation with Russia or, perhaps, if Putin don't dare to wage the confrontation, to make a fool of him.

Should we expect the Third World War?

The Russian ambassador to Lebanon threatened the US with retaliation if they attack Syria with missiles. "If there was an attack by the Americans, then the rockets would be shot down," said Ambassador Alexander Sasipkin to the Hizbullah television station al-Manar. But it would also lead to an attack against the launching devices from which the rockets were fired, Sasipkin said, citing a statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian General Staff. The internationally legitimate targets would be US warships in the eastern Mediterranean.

Russia warned the US: don’t gamble! The cruise missiles should fly towards terrorists and not legitimate governments, as the Foreign Ministry in Moscow emphasised. #Us Navy
