Hit me baby one more time singer Britney Spears is kicking off her world tour in "Little London" headlining brighton’s Gay Pride party on August 4th, while dancing on the ceiling singer Lionel Richie is singing his heart out at the Hove-based Sussex County Cricket ground on June 23rd.
With a packed calendar bursting to its brim, Brighton is going to be kept busy, hosting the Brighton Festival from May 5th to the 27th, with an array of music, theatre, dance, circus, art, film, literature, debate, outdoor and family events.

The Brighton Marathon on 15 April, (the country’s second largest after London’s,) the London to Brighton Bike Ride on 17 June and the London to Brighton Veteran car run on 4th November are just some of the other events that will be held in the seaside-resort town.
