Nortje to get another shot

Dale Steyn was rested for the first ODI and Kagiso Rabada was preferred instead. Going into the Centurion ODI, South Africa might decide to give Rabada a small break considering the heavy cricketing schedule ahead of the pacer.

According to the ESPN Cricinfo report, Steyn might be slotted back into the side. Anrich Nortje, who impressed on his debut the other day, will get another chance as he prepares to leave a mark on the selector's mind. Apart from this, the Proteas might not make any more changes to their side.

Rajitha likely to come back

Kasun Rajitha was not included in the side for the first ODI while Lakshan Sandakan played as the second spinner.

Considering the pitch in Centurion, captain Lasith Malinga is likely to pick Rajitha instead of Sandakan as he will provide a good option as a new-ball bowler. Other than this, the visitors might not make any more changes and will back the same combination.

Last month, South Africa and Pakistan played in an ODI at this venue and it was a high-scoring game as the overall run-rate stayed over six.

But it was rain which played the spoilsport on the occasion. ESPN Cricinfo reports that the weather is likely to be good and won't trouble the teams. Sri Lanka would like to come back into the series while South Africa fresh from their Test series loss would aim for dominance in the one-day format.
