Australia is leading the three-match T20I series 1-0 after winning a thriller in Brisbane on Wednesday. The match was reduced to 17-overs each side due to rain and the hosts eventually won the match by four runs via DLS Method.

Australia look for a series win to set up the summer

Australia surprised a few people by picking leg-spinner Adam Zampa in the line-up in Brisbane, but the move clearly worked as he ended with figures of 2 for 22 in four overs, in a high-scoring battle. Australia is expected to continue with the winning combination.

A win will seal the series for Australia, which they desperately need to recover from the side's poor form.

India batted quite well but failed to snatch a win towards the end.

The bowling performance previous night might slightly concern captain Virat Kohli, but it is likely that India will back the same XI to deliver the goods. Kohli might bat at no. 3, pushing KL Rahul at no. 4. It should be taken into account that Rahul has failed to get a good score in T20s since he got a hundred in England earlier this year.

The MCG has a drop-in pitch, hence it is likely to be a bit slow with lesser bounce than the Gabba. The boundaries are huge at this ground, making it all the more difficult to score boundaries. Running between the wickets will be crucial as will be the usage of the new ball. There are huge chances of rain, so don't be surprised if the number of overs is reduced just like the Brisbane T20.
