Bangladesh look to avoid a series loss

Bangladesh's lead pacer Mustafiruz Rahman sat out for the first Test even though he was in the squad. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that the Sylhet wicket helped the spinners more than the seamers.

Bangladesh might just opt for playing Rahman in the second Test if he is fit. If he comes back in, it is most likely that Abu Zayed will be sitting out. Rest of the Bangladeshi lineup is expected to be the same if there are no injuries prior to the game.

Zimbabwe at the verge of history

The win in Sylhet will do a world of good the Zimbabwean team's confidence. From being underdogs, they suddenly are in a place of clinching the series.

Keeping in mind their performance in the first Test, it is very unlikely that the visitors will make any changes to their lineup.

Opener Brian Chari's underwhelming performance in the first Test might get overlooked in amidst for this historic win.

The Dhaka pitch is renowned for its ability to offer spinners something from day one of the Test. Batting on this track is not always easy, and the teams should be careful with their approach with the bat.

Toss will play a crucial part as batting in the fourth innings can be really difficult on this pitch.

The weather is expected to be clear for all the five days of the Test match, with temperatures being around the 30-degree Celsius mark.
