The third and final Twenty20 match between Pakistan and Australia will be played on Sunday, October 28, 2018, in Dubai at 9 PM PST. The toss will take place at 8:30 PM Pakistan time. Stay tuned.

Two Test matches and the same number of T20 games have been played on this tour so far, and Australia are still to win their first match. This is their last chance to play well and get a consolation win.

Team News

Pakistan batsmen Sahibzaada Farhan might get a chance to play his second T20, while Waqas Maqsood could make his debut.

Australia's Mitchell Starc might not be included in the playing XI so soon after his injury; the selectors know that the series has already been lost.

Australia is not used to getting into a score on 22/6 in a Twenty20 game; they played better in the second T20 but failed to reach a modest Pakistan score of 147.

Pakistan on an all-time high

Pakistan team is currently on a record-breaking spree, they have won the last 10 T20 series in a row. In addition, they are yet to lose a T20I game in the UAE since November 2015. Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been their favourite hunting grounds.

The weather is as usual around 34 degrees in Dubai. The pitch which has been used frequently since the last two months even for the Asia Cup 2018 is again expected to be slow and will assist the slow bowlers. No big score can be expected even in this match like the first two.

The team winning the toss will likely bat first to put a good total on the board as batting with the wet ball, and the due will make it difficult.
