All other England batsmen ensured that their team posts a solid total for India to chase.

Chasing a target of 199 runs to win the match and the series, India scored a solid score of 201 runs for the loss of just three wickets in 18.4 overs.

Rohit Sharma was the star and man of the match, he scored a splendid century and hit 10 fours and five massive sixes. Skipper Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya chipped in 43 and 33 runs respectively at the end of the innings. For England, David Willey, Jake Bell, and Chris Jordan took one wicket each.

India had won the series opener comprehensively by eight wickets in Manchester earlier this week, which was followed by an England win in a low scoring thriller at Cardiff by five wickets on Friday. With both the teams possessing some really good internationals stars, this series decider was set to be a cracker of a game.

India had previously beaten England in a T20I series decider when these two teams faced each other in January 2017.
