Verse and contempt for the victims of the criminal Nazi ideology – in the last page!

At a time when huge mass murders of Jewish, Polish and Gypsy population took place in Poland from the hands of Nazi executioners, the American press published remarkable amount of nonsense about the scale of German Nazi crimes. She cut them down and did not mentioned the worst of them. The anonymous author of this really "fake" press release referred to an “Inter-Allied Information Committee of the United States”. At the same time, he assured that they were quite sufficient and proven figures up to the end of 1942 (sic!), including those executed by firing squads and those who have died “in prison camps”. (Free-Lance Star, 29 April 1943, p. 3)

The news of the mass deportation of the sons and daughters of Israel from the Netherlands to the "concentration camps in the East" was placed at the time when the uprising in the Warsaw ghetto broke out. On the last page, next to the news from War Price and Rationing Board, below a witty comic. Without one word explaining what that means. (Free-Lance Star, 20 April 1943, p. 6)
